After 8 days with my dry rock, live sand fishless cycle I'm at 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite and nitrates have dropped to about 8. Should I do a partial a partial water change and add a fish now so as not to starve out my bacteria or continue to let my nitrates hit 0 also?

Your nitrates wont go to 0 because there is nothing to take them up. I dont know how many fish youre adding but YES you can add your fish now. Just make sure to monitor the conditions and keep some PRIME on hand in case of emergency. Good luck.

Just a clown for now. And let it help establish things. Then a goby or hawk. It's only a 15 so I'm not going to have more than 3 or 4 small. I'll add a cleanup crew in a week or so and maybe in a month get my 1st couple of zoa frags.

And thank you.

What ammonia concentration did you start with?

2.0 and did a .50 that cleared in about 15hr. No visible nitrites. So I did a 4gal water change and added a little more bacteria and plan on adding a tiny clown by himself for a couple of weeks. Before adding anything else.

I understand your data now. Your tiny clown should be happy.

The fish store had the salinty at 1.21 I'm at .26 so I replaced his water a couple of times dripping him over about an hr. Now that he's tired of killing his reflection he is getting around the rock work toward the center of the tank and accepted some mysis kinda slurried in. I'll keep an eye on my ammonia. I've now started my little magtool skimmer as well.
