Just got a frag of anthelia and have now read it is very fast growing. My question is, is it worth keeping. Its hard to tell how this will look with more than 3 polyps.
You could attach it somewhere on the side or back glass, if it overgrows it's easy to razor-blade off. It'll take awhile to get large but once it begins to grow it's exponential.
For God's sake, get rid of it! For your own frustration savings. It's hard to contain one it gets to growing. It will shoot a polyp off and then, bam! New colony! If you keep it, just know that when it starts growing that it is very much, more than likely going to become a problem..
I agree with getting rid of it. Unless you want a tank dominated by soft corals only then yes get rid of it. Anthelia in my experience is one of the most invasive corals out there, it even makes GSP look like a slow grower.
