Should ATO RODI have a powerhead?

I read a post where someone suggested water movement with the ATO reservoir keeps it good longer. If you have a large res that hold 3 weeks worth of water, do you all keep the water circulating with some kind of pump or do you leave it stagnant?

It’s just freshwater, no need to circulate. FSW is another story.
