Should be set it I was told differently.

Wait so I need more clean up crew or I don’t? I just planned on getting two nano fighting conches.
if you're losing the battle on algae then you need more. if its not accumulating then stay your course. there is no magic checklist or number you need. its the same as feeding, you will learn how much is enough by how your display looks.

Looking at your tank and the size I would suggest;
2 Trochus
2 Turbos
2 Cerith
2 Nassarius
1 conch

This would be a good start and they wont starve. You can always add more if they cant keep up.
I think variety is important in a cuc as they all do slightly different jobs
I recently added a lawn mower blenny to the sump tank. I would say I don’t see algae bloom hardly aside from my sump. Adding all those would just starve most of them.

I agree with that 100%. I haven’t been fighting with algae so that why I was under the impression I didn’t need more than what I have. But I have been told that more would hurt. So I added a lawnmower to my sump

No. Just telling you what I have myself. I have enough algae for my crew, you may not. As your tank matures you can get up to at least 100 of the small Zig Zag Periwinkles which are on the small side of up to 1/4". Check out reefcleaners.com, they have a great assortment of small snails.

I don't think your sand is dirty enough for conches, they don't climb rocks or glass and mainly just what they can reach from the sand.

Hello I’ve had my tank for approximately 8months with fish (3 months without) it’s doing so good and I just recently did some adjustments removed all the fish and moved the rock a little so I could trick my clowns to think it’s new also removed all predator fish to another tank so I’ve got 2 clowns, 13 different corals, turbo snail, and horseshoe crab. Hopefully they will breed! I’ve been told my clean up crew isn’t enough but I am almost certain I should be set. Any ideas?
I just noticed you have horseshoe crabs. Would they eat your snails in the sand?

It very well might eat them and that’s a reason for being to hesitate. I could definitely put a few snails in my sump but as I said before tank is a year old and once I added my turbo algae was no longer a problem. Not that it was a problem before but rocks get little green to them but after adding no more now and sand was tad bit dirty before but adding horseshoe solved that instantly. Now I have had a problem with keeping sump clean and I know it’s sump and it will get dirty but I would think a clean sump makes a clean tank. So I added a lawnmower to the sump and have had Xenia in it covered a whole rock already

What size sump is it? You must have it illuminated. If you have a lawnmower blenny then you want the algae to grow for him.

It’s a 10 gallon sump/refugium and I’ve got a wave circulator pointing upward to break the surface in the sump and I got a coral life light set up to run opposite of my lights

i don't want to hassle you on this a bunch as its clear you're new but you need to reconsider if 1) 10 gallons is enough space for a blenny (its not by a longshot) 2) in that limited space that its getting enough algae to graze on (its not) and 3) is a life in a 10 gallon sump with a low-powered refugium light as its sun is optimal conditions for keeping any fish? (this is the most obvious NO of them all)
for context, in my 5 years visiting the site i have yet to read of anyone keeping a blenny in the sump long term. please reconsider and let that fish enjoy a proper home or take it back to the lfs so it goes to someone who can/will.

I also have a 10 gallon tank for a sump, but I have it stuffed with a filter box, skimmer, UV light, heater and return pump. Yes you should rehome your blenny.

I don’t plan to have him down there long term but I have a 50gal that is going on 2months now so there isn’t enough of anything for him in that and my 30 gallon tank with 10 gallon sump I have running as a breeder so I cant put him in that. But as soon as that 50gal is ready I’ll be putting him in that and buying probably 2 snails in addition to what I already have

Make sure you have plenty of patches of GHA for him to graze upon.

relieving to hear it.
I should apologize for how I came across after reading my post. I didn't mean to make it sound so preachy. that does sound like a great plan.
