Should I add a 6-line?

Hit and miss. I have had one in my 90 mixed reef for ages. He mostly hides in the rockwork, except at feeding time. No aggression that I have noted towards any of my clowns. In smaller tanks, I have seen some aggressive behavior towards fish that tend to hide in "his" territory.

Are 4 lines less aggressive?

Ive heard they are but not as pretty
As of yesterday, the 6 line was the more passive one. My orchid was nipping. But I will take a took when I go home. Maybe they got all their frustrations out lol

I lucked out on mine. The six line was the first fish I added in my 10g. Added a midnight clown not too long ago. They get along just fine! I think its a hit or miss.

I have a 6 line in my 90 gallon and he minds his own business. Just swims in and out of the rocks all day. Pretty neat to watch. I have noticed I can't keep shrimp in the tank since he's been in there. It could be unrelated, not sure. My tank was fairly new when I added him.

So far so good Everyone is getting along well. But the 6 line is only about an inch so time will tell but as for now, he's the nice one lol

In my experience six lines aren't too aggressive. I think yours will work out ok.

Update: Still going great! The 6 line and orchid still arent fighting, even at feeding time. The clown definitely is the most chill, he doesnt bother anyone lol
Im hesitant to call it a win yet, because he is still small, but things are going really well

I added a clown fish and an anthias recently in my 75g, my 6 line was curious and harassed them for about a minute or two, but after that he never bothered them anymore. All three have about the same size (2.5"ish)
