Should I add a clown to tank

Still its not A reef tank so alka calc mag wont be a matter think so??
I have a Api test kit
Want to buy refractomer by redsea but cant take it right now will need to wait so using hydrometer

While it's true that testing alk, calcium, mag isn't as important for a fish only tank, you're adding an anemone, so not a fish-only tank anymore. Do you have a LFS that would take your seabae off your hands until you have more experience?

In our surrounding there is no LFS who sales or deals any saltwater stuff they dont even know whats saltwater aquarium

Don’t use the Red Sea refractometer, and u can’t get any anemone till 6 months

Oh, okay. You can keep your parameters in line with just regular water changes since your tank will be lightly stocked. And, even though it's not ideal, I used a hydrometer for the first 2 yrs. of my reef tank. Just keep it cleaned well. Also, your salinity should be raised to 1.026 for the seabae. Other than that, I wish you luck. Keep us updated.

While is 1.026 ok for every thing that will go in my tank??

Yes, all of your marine animals will do fine at 1.026.

The starfish will need to be fed in order to thrive. He will likely go after crabs, snails, etc. as well. Maybe feed it chunks of shrimp. I've never tried to keep a starfish, just brittle stars.

There are so many opinions on acclimation and I honestly can't say what's best. I've had my fish for almost 5 yrs. and I'm sure things have changed. I bought my fish locally so I didn't have to worry about ammonia building up in the bag. Since your fish is being shipped, I've read on here that they need to be removed from the shipping bag quickly due to the ammonia. Maybe someone else can advise you about that. I don't want to give bad information.
