Hello all, I set up my 55g a little over a month ago. My current setup is 2 marine land 350s on the back, 2 power head on each side of tank, 1 is 1050gph and the other is 450gph. I have a skimmer on the back as well rated at 260gph. 20lbs live rock and 30lbs life rock. I put a clown and 4 hermits in about 3 days ago once cycle was completed. All is going well but I have noticed 2 dead spots in the back corners of the tank. The flow in the middle of the tank is awesome but do you think I should add another power head to push water behind the rocks in the back? Right now it’s FOWLR but I’m going to be adding corals in a couple months.

Ideally you want 10-20x flow from your wavemakers, so 550-1100 Gph. It sounds like you're probably achieving that.
Would adding another power head for the bottom in the back be too much flow? Just trying to prevent the dead spots

Not necessarily - some people run up to 40x flow with their wavemakers. If you do, add another 450 Gph wavemaker like the existing one to balance it out.

I always say- start moderate and let your fish and coral tell you if they want more - You'll know
