I have my foxface for about 1.5 weeks now. He loves our yellow damsel and munches on tons of seaweed. But this guy gets scared so easily. If I walk by the tank he can jet and camo into a rock. Othertimes I can be scrubbing away at the glass and hes just chilling in normal civilian clothes mode

That being said i see him get scared 2-3 times a day, should I be worried?

Mine was pretty dang timid and eventually took a tile dive when I wasn't home. Had him for a few years before that and it seemed like he could recognize me eventually and wouldn't spook when I was near the tank but strangers to him would send him into darting and camo mode. If he jumps do not pick him up bare handed their venom hurts like hell (from experience). It starts off like a hornet sting and gets worse and the pain travels up the nerves. The only way I know to stop it is by placing the sting sight in as hot of water as you can tolerate.

Totally normal behavior. I can still spook mine by pretty much any random act and I have had it almost a year. Sounds like yours is starting to adapt overall though. Very cool fish.
