Should I Be Concerned - Clown Fish

I’ve had my first two clown fish for a few days now and they are the only animals in the tank.

I think they are frostbite clown fish, although I purchased them labeled as black ice. They have a blue hue along the fins like I’ve seen in frostbites like the first picture attached.

I just noticed on one side of both fish it looks like that white/blue hue bleeds in to the fins. I didn’t notice it before. Trying to figure out if it’s something I should be concerned with or if it’s likely that I just wasn’t observant enough and that this is normal.

Things to watch for are fast breathing, excess slime coat, white dots and not eating. I don't see anything in the photos to be alarmed about. Every clown looks different, names are just what ever someone decided to call them to increase the price.

Also - appreciate your tag or signature or whatever that is under your name. Clowns were the fish I was most interested in when I decided to do a saltwater tank about a month ago and GSP is definitely going to be my first coral.

If I could get the GSP out of my tank at this point I would burn it while dancing around the fire.

As for the clowns.... I spent 2 years, got a bunch of anemone and tried every internet trick I could find to get the nems to host the clowns. For all of my trouble they bite me any time my hand is in the tank. Pretty sure the female took a bite and spit it back at me once.

blue hues (tint) not abnormal especially on tomato and maroon versions. Clowns appear healthy and main thing to watch is white poop and fish thinning at same time. Likely these are tank raised and less likely to contract Brooklynella.

I don't see anything in the picture that would be worrisome to me. I've seen that blue hue in designer clowns, never thought it to be an issue. Watch them for poor feeding and rapid respiration, but otherwise, they should be good.

Likely normal, every now and then we get a thread about clownfish with green spots. These are the same spots on one of my fish, it shines green in the right light, otherwise it just looks like lighter colored scales.
