Just got fish in Yesterday and while looking at them I noticed these sort of worm looking things as well as some transparent looking algea thing. Can these be identified? Should I remove them or should I just leave it alone.
Thanks

Were the rocks wet or dry when you got them?

Those small white tubes on the surface of the rock are fan worms. Can't tell if they're living or dead, but completely harmless. In fact, they're filter feeders so they're going to lock nutrients up into biomass and keep the tank clean :). As your system matures you'll likely see more begin to show up.

The second pic looks like tunicates or sponges, but it's hard to tell. Those are both totally harmless. If the rock was dry and there dead you'll get some die off and maybe an ammonia spike, but otherwise shouldn't be a concern.

hi look like calcium bodied tube worms little filters will mostly be behind and under rocks ,no problem
