The pictures birds nest has been in the tank for about three weeks now and has been doing great. This morning I noticed some bare spots. The polyps are otherwise extended well. Nothing has changed in the tank. Other corals, including an acro appear to be happy. What do you guys think?

Tissue loss and may be several factors:

High salinity
High Kalk
too much water flow
PH low
sting or being picked on

Weve got a pocillopora crab that hangs out in our birdsnest. Hes cute but it's all bare where he likes to hold.

Salinity 1.026
Ph 8.1-8.2
I did move a mp40... but it’s on the opposite side of the tank.
I don’t monitor kalk.. did you mean alk?
