Hello everyone, I know this might be a dumb question. But a couple months ago I discovered a couple of my fish had gotten ich so I set up a hospital tank and put my fish in it and unfortunately my green chromis is a lot smarter than he seems and so small he will just hide in the rock structure and I can not get him out. The only way would be to take everything out and try to get him. I’ve tried everything else. Anyways it’s been a while since my other fish have been out and in the copper and the cheomis is still alive and does not have any signs of having ich at all. Is it possible he could not get it and all the other ich will die off after the 90 days of all other fish being out? He is still active and eats a lot and is a perfectly healthy fish. Any ideas on if after the 90 days I could put the other fish in and it could all be okay? Thank you all in advance.

Ich feeds on the fish so if he was left in the tank then he got use to ich and it is still in the tank. Only when the tank is left fallow will ich die off.
Hey never showed signs or anything for it so I don’t understand. I’ll just have to keep trying to get him out I guess.

Unfortunately the sure fire way is to give the ich no food/host (ie fish) for about 70 days. So even if you don’t see symptoms he can technically he a carrier and help continue the ich lifecycle
