hi everyone,
I have had my hammer for a week or two and I just changed from the stock lights of the Biocube to a AI prime HD16. Is it fairly small but I just noticed that the hammer is looking more compressed with little extension of its polops then befor. Should I bring it down to the bottom of the tank to see if moving it will help it to open up?

Then you may want to consider moving it up a little. Move it then wait a few days and see if it gets happy. Once you find where this hammer is happy, all your euphyllia will probably be happy there (not indo torches, those like crazy flow). These are right in front of a very weak powerhead, near the bottom of my tank. I run AI Prime HD

Those look amazing! Okay perfect I will try to move it up if it hasn't opened more by tomorrow just incase it was my clown that touched it or made it close up thank you for the advice

Evening,

Another thought is your lighting change. Going from the stock to the HD may need a short acclimation period depending on how you programmed you new lights. The hammer will not bleach per se like an acro, keep an eye on the flesh around the skeleton to see if starts to recede or expose the underneath.

it looks like it just needs time to acclimate and should be fine
