So this started happening yesterday. I'm not sure if I should be worried because my clown is so tiny and it's not a nem he's trying to host in. I'm actually not even sure what "hosting" means since I'm still fairly new to saltwater. Will this coral sting him too much?

Your clownfish appears to be hosting a torch. He will be fine.

Thanks for the much needed reassurance! :)I've only heard about them hosting in anemones so I wasn't sure if the torch would hurt him.

My clown fish host nearly every coral in my tank quite funny to watch for the first time

Yes mine has decided to host my frog spawn and my GSP. :)

Clowns have a thick mucus layer on their skin. The mucus tends to protect them from the nematocysts of anemones and corals. Nematocysts are specialized sting cells unique to the phylum that corals and anemones belong in. I think that the mucus is so non stimulating that the nematocysts are not triggered.

Thanks for explaining some of the science behind it!
