I've had this frag for a month and it is loosing color and I don't really see any PE
I'm wonder if I should be patient and keep an eye on it or pop it off and relocate it? PAR is 300 where it is sitting so I don't think it's too much light. I'm only running peak lighting for 6 hours right now as I'm trying to to battle some hair alage. It has been on the rock for maybe 2 weeks. Other frags except one are doing well. Parameters are good I think
Alk 9.4 yesterday and has been stable
Cal 400 ish haven't tested in a while
Mag 1400 last time I tested
Salinity 1.025
Temp 78
Nitrate just detectable
Phos 0.02 last week
I don't really test PH much but was 8.0 last time I did test.

Shorty after I got it

I got a new milli frag doing the same so I will be interested in what people say. Mine has had some growth despite no pe and lack of color. Beautiful dog by the way

Not an expert but I will say some take long time to adjust and many change colors when in new environment and lights. You will read many transform to plain green. I bought 10 acro frags several months ago and all didn’t grow and changed colors. Then one day took off after about 6 weeks. Still different color. The ones in picture still looks good to me!

You could try less light or more flow… hard to say with these things lol.. one I just picked up loves the high light and flow.. others have liked less flow! Also a favorite for aefw so check for those also..

Po4 0.02 is on the very low side for an alk of 8. Your alk is 9.4, it maybe be hungry.
Bump up nutrients.
It could be settling in but I think it would have by now. IMO, the settling usually darkens a frag not lightens it.
It looks like it has tissue to me, very thin tissue. It is on deaths door and I hope it turns around for you.

Ya I stopped dosing 2 part today to try and let alk come download closer to 8. P and N have been problematic recently. I was dosing nitrates but stopped as it didn't seem to be helping much (battling GHA) . I have a frag section in my sump attached to a larger display that is super stable with alk rock solid at 7.8 and N around 10 everything in there is good so I don't even test much else. I wonder if I should pull this one and glue it to a plug acclimate it and move it there or would that make matters worse do you think?

Couldn't make it worse. IMO, I would.

I’ve had 3 millis. The first two came together and both struggled under moderate high light (about 14” below 400w MH) and moderate flow. One faded and died after 1 year. The other I repositioned in high light (10” below 400w MH) and high flow after 1 year of doing nothing…it revived with good PE and color. The third milli I just received 2 weeks ago and placed it directly in the high light high flow spot and it is blossoming!
High light and high flow is what I recommend.

Copps 24k Gold milli sitting about 400 par, and just about the most turbulent area in my tank:

I have plenty of flow running an MP40 and an MP10 in addition to the return and tank is only 24x20x20. I'm running 2 XR15 pro gen 4 along with 2 B+ and 2 C+ T5 bulbs in a hybrid. I have a Par meter and plenty of room to crank up the radions. Lights are also high and can be lowered. I'm new to SPS so definatly willing to listen to advise. Do you think I should just leave it and wait? Move it to another tanks? Or crank up the lights to maybe get it around 400 PAR?

I would just leave it be. At this point moving it may be more stressful, then just leaving it alone. If it's in decent light ti will adjust. Under normal lighting(you certainly sound like you have plenty), it should be fine just about anywhere. Par is more on how they color up, imo. I mean I wouldn't necessarily put it in 100 par, but anywhere over 200 should be fine for it to live.

As long as you think it's getting decent flow, I would leave it be.

Thanks I'll go ahead and move the mp10 up a little just to make sure it's getting plenty. It's on the wall behind it but down a little hitting the rocks.

I agree. But if there is no significant improvement in a few weeks I wouldn’t be shy on cranking up the light.

Thanks I may drop them a little bit. They are on cables and I did raise them to about 11 inches. Not sure exacly when tho. I started writing down any changes I make but just started doing that this week.

Not sure if it will help your tank or not, but my millis all respond positively to amino dosing. I struggled getting good PE and color on all of them until I started daily dosing....even though the other acros looked fine.

Thanks. I have recently started adding acro power but am taking it slow and dosing lightly
