I have what I think is cyano? It's not overtaking, not growing noticeably. Tank is three months old, so could just be some new tank uglies. What do you guys think?

From the picture there is no cyanobacteria
That algae may or may not go away.
Depending on what fish you predict you will have will determine if you want internal growth of algaes like this.
Would I leave it? Yes

Okay, any good threads off hand about algae and maintaining it? Also Macdaddy mentioned lobophora? Any opinion on that?
 
I would replace the rock why risk it. Get some of the reel reaf rock that you can just throw in.

The best solution to algaes is h2o2 3% hydrogen peroxide
Keep this in your cabinet as it is one of the best tools you will have.
