Should I be worried?

I have what I think is cyano? It's not overtaking, not growing noticeably. Tank is three months old, so could just be some new tank uglies. What do you guys think?

Is that normal for a New tank, and does it require any sort of treatment? Or will it eventually go away on its own

Im not sure if that is cyano, but if that brown stuff on your rock is lobophora, than may be you should be worried.

From the picture there is no cyanobacteria
That algae may or may not go away.
Depending on what fish you predict you will have will determine if you want internal growth of algaes like this.
Would I leave it? Yes

I would replace the rock why risk it. Get some of the reel reaf rock that you can just throw in.

The best solution to algaes is h2o2 3% hydrogen peroxide
Keep this in your cabinet as it is one of the best tools you will have.

There is no algae out there that is resistant to h2o2

If that's lobophora I wouldn't want to deal with it.
