should i be worried ?

I'm looking to get my wood floor sanded and refinished with semi gloss look. My 200 gallon tank is located in the basement, should i be worried that the vapors will affect my tank ?

I would be a little concerned myself, I would probably try to figure out a way to isolate my tank from possibly contaminated air. If you can somewhat seal off any doorways or other openings between the work area and the tank you could use fans in windows blowing outside to create negative air pressure where dust and fumes will be so it can't get into the rest of the house
