Should I be worried???

I bought a used marine land 60 gallon cube and doing my first build. However the tank has an imperfection in one corner. It held water when last filled... from what I have read these tanks sometimes have funky seams but has worked out fine‍

Not surprising the silicone is messy, but the edge looks slightly off/crooked too. It might have always been like that though.

My Marineland 60 non cube, has both bottom seams like that. Can’t remember if it was like that when I bought it but it’s been going strong for years!

If it's still not filled, you may look into resealing it just for peace of mind.

I've never experienced a seam failure, but I'm guessing if the panel was shifting a bit, it would be loose and you would be able to feel some wiggle near the top of the edge. If its completely solid, I would think it was always like that. The smeared silicone is of no concern to me.

Yeah I’m not concerned about the off colored silicone just the slight bubbling in the seam. The seam is solid. No wiggles
