Hey all,

I have 5 Dispar Anthias that were treated with copper for 3 weeks (at an LFS I trust, they test the copper every day and adjust as needed) and have been at home with me in a QT for a week.

I've got them eating baby brine shrimp, Arcti-pods and they'll even grab small pieces of frozen mysis (but not the whole shrimp). I'm debating putting them through a prophylactic Prazipro treatment to deworm them before putting them into the DT. I had a bad experience with Prazipro last month (it's likely the fish was on it's way out anyways) and though I know it's safe, I'm worried about using it again. My plan was to keep them in the QT for another 2-3 days to make sure they're eating well and then move them into the DT to let them de-stress finally. If I use Prazi, I'll dose tonight and then wait 5 days before moving them.

What do you think crew?

If you dose the prazi then you shouldn't move them until the second dose. It doesn't kill the eggs so they will hatch while in the DT and require more rounds of prazi there.

I would do it no matter what. I also wouldn't trust the LFS QT protocol. No just because of copper levels either. If they are like us, they have fish constantly coming in and going out. Its impossible to guarantee a proper QT in an environment like that. TTM would take care of it pretty darn quickly though, coupled with prazi.

I agree 100%. I wish there was a button for "this, yes this, absolutely". :)
