Should I buy another icecap 1k or mp10?

So I have a new nuvo fusion 30g long. It is a 3 ft 30g tank. I have an icecap 1k gyre on one side. I was thinking about adding another icecap on the other to do alternating gyre...or mp10 on one side? Or should I just keep it to 1 icecap?

Edit: I'll have BTA,torch coral, LPS, and some softies. I'm not going SPS route.

They're on sale right now, I'd just get the gyre since you already have one running.

So icecap is better than the mp10?

You state having one, are you happy with it? A gyre and a vortech are two different pump styles imo, you can't really compare them. What you can compare though is $117 vs $300.

Well, I had it in a much bigger tank. I'd get the non wireless version at 235...so the mp10 is only $100ish more. Cost isn't really a limiting factor. I could always sell my current icecap.

I have both mp10s and an IceCap 1K. I like them both but what I don't like about the 1K is the cord in the tank, and the maintenance involving the cord. By that I mean that the cord goes down the back of the tank, and into the cabinet via a hold in the back. Every time I wanna clean the pump I have to wrestle with the cord -- unplug it, pull it out of the cabinet, then snake it back thru the little hole -- it's a pain! With the mp10 I just uncouple it, clean it, and stick it back in the tank. Also the mp10 has what I think is a smaller footprint in the tank. Since the 1K is hidden behind something, it doesn't matter in my case.
