I just ordered a Ace Roto-Mold poly application tank for my RODI water and wanted to know how I should clean it to make sure there are no manufacturing residue in it. Or if it even needs this type of cleaning.

I always clean new rotomold tanks out with vinegar and RODI. I'm paranoid that way!

I bought mine from rural king, at the time they had the best price + shipping

I have 2 of them, I sprayed them out with water let them dry then filled them up with RODI.

Ive been watching that site for months but they say out of stock. I emailed them and they said soon they would be available again... but that was awhile ago

Where did you order it from?

I ordered it from barndoor ag it's a 20g upright tank

Thanks I was figuring vinegar or bleach and water. I just wanted to make sure no one had issues with any residue in it. It's a pretty nice tank for what I paid. I like the three trigger crystal ato containers I have. It I needed something bigger.

Want couple of those 30g or 40g so bad but shipping cost my legs.

Yeah I actually wanted 25-30g but this was free shipping so I went for it. The square shape also means it will take up less space and I can drill bulkheads wherever I want.

These are much nicer than my big blue barrels. I looked at some, but they seemed a bit pricey. Very nice though.
