should i clean filter before testing parameters?

so i am trying to fix my parameters did a 20% water change, and cleaned my filter after about a year and all that. i have to do another water change tomorrow but was wondering if i do the water change first maybe today so im not flustered with it all in one day then i clean my filter tomorrow will it make a HUGE impact on my parameters? or is it best to clean filter and do water change before testing.

so basically i plan to do water chnge today, test, clean filter tomorrow.

Either way. Ammonia is the biggest concern really in this case. Just check agin in a few days and a few days after that. Note the changes.
I like to have PRIME after a big clean. cant hurt.
