I finally got the nerve to try dipping again today. My first time went badly. I had a 3" x 5" monti with MENS. So I dipped with Bayer but i don't think it got rinsed well enough. When I put it back it started sliming and killed both my shrimp and made my crabs sick. It might have been too big of a piece. I pulled it out before it had the chance to kill anything else. Never saw another nudi after that. Since then i have set up a frag quarantine and moved everything over. The original tank will be fish quarantine. So today i decided to try once more. I haven't seen any pests in my frag tank but one of my corals didn't look that good. It was a small piece and this time I made sure it stayed in 3 separate rinses 10 minutes each. So far my sexy shrimp seems fine with it. Also I glued over 2 small aptasia on rocks and replaced the plug with a small aptasia on an aussie gold acro. Its still mad but I hope it opens back like it was. Here are some pics.

I dip everything in Bayer when I get it. I put the frags and their bag water in the Styrofoam shipping container (tossed out first) and then use tank water to double the water volume. Then I add the Bayer and soak them for 10 mins. I then let it soak for 10 mins in a solo cup of tank water. Then I transfer it to another solo cup of tank water for another 10 mins before finally moving it into the coral QT. In between each stage I first give it a quick shake underwater in the container it's in and then pour a little tank water over it before transferring it to the next container.
