Should I dose AB+ daily?

I have a Red Sea reefer170 and I want to know whether I should dose ab+ around 5ml everyday? and at what time should I dose if I do dose?

doesn't the label say 4 ml per 25 gallons daily? I have been dosing it this way to a heavily (coral) stocked tank and feel like the effect has been positive. I would probably scale back that dose for a lightly stocked tank..

I have dosed it daily, but now I just dose a larger amount every Friday mixed with reef roids etc. I have noticed a positive effect while dosing both ways, vs. not dosing it. The once a week thing is just easier for me to remember since you can’t really use it on a dosing pump, other than in small amounts.

I like adding aminos, but only after a water change and every other week (that's how often I WC). IME it caused algae that I wasn't able to control so now I'm super cautious. You can tell my corals totally love it.... Lps extra poofy and sps extra polyp extension

I dose daily, until nitrates get above 12 in a mixed reef. Corals are very bright and very good polyp extension. Very good growth and brought some pretty much dead lps and sps back. Corals definitely better with it, but probably could scale back to 3 times a week. I like to provide lots of nutrients. I do have a film of gha on exposed rock facing lights. It looks normal to me

I do not use AB+ to necessarily raise nutrient levels, but if my readable levels get higher than I like, I slow it down a bit.

on the other hand, I have used products such as brightwell neo nitrogen and phosphates to help raise levels along with feeding more frozen fish food and reef roids. This sometimes happens if I neglect to trim chaeto and it gets big and does too good of a job.

Work out what you need, and then start with a fraction of what you think you will need and go from there.

There are numerous reports of it causing algae growth (which is not really surprising), so I would start it very gently.

My current bottle (my first bottle) will be my last.

Keep in mind that their instructions (red sea) assume you are running their formula which calls for what is realistically a 0 nitrate formula.

I would keep a log how much your alkalinity and calcium drops exactly per day. Then dose based on that. I dose at night usually.

i dose it bi-weekly. i find that it raises my no3/po4 quickly if it dose daily. still haven’t found a sweet spot to how much i can dose daily without elevating my nutrients a lot
