Should I evict my emerald crab?

I found my emerald after i first got him in my hammer coral. Of course i freaked out thinking he was munching on it but no. He likes hanging around it and probably finds it his little buddy. At first you kind of think oh no but after observing him for awhile he's not hurting it. In fact for awhile i was feeding him some nori just to be sure. I still do it many times a week as he comes out and eagerly grabs it. Sometimes he won't let go of my tongs as if he wants to play. Cute little guy but if it came down to it I'd show him the toilet. I don't have a sump!

Yeah.. I caught him munching on my toadstool, which is missing some polyps now. Had to get rid of him. I won't get another now. :(

Oh at the very least I'm keeping an eye on it.. But I'm super tempted to just remove him. I love my coral, and while he's cool, I want a peaceful tank.. Or if I supply him with the occasional hand feeding will it be fine?
I got an emerald and he tore into my zoas. I named him Richard cause he was a dick and then took him back to my lfs haha
