alright I have a 10g tank with 2 clownfish and a goby and my lfs has a little baby angelfish that is maybe and inch like SMALL SMALL. Should I get it or pass IDK please help!

Another thing to think about is - baby angels depending on type may not do 'as well' as adults. And also - in a 10 gallon tank - don't you think your pair of clowns will bully it quite a bit?

I see from another post - there is also a tang in your tank? - I might hold off based on the amount of stuff in your tank. I do not think ammonia would be a problem. Fighting may very well be. If/when you decide to add a small angel - you could add some nitrifying bacteria.

Another potential issue - is that your stocking density is getting 'high' for that size of tank - meaning that any disease, CI, velvet is much more likely to be a problem if it is introduced. One key mantra in the hobby is 'stability' - I would suggest to you that the best way to have a small tank - is to stock it appropriately - and not be constantly adding and re-adding fish. I'm not saying this to be mean - only a suggestion. I note you were planning to give the tang to your dad as well at some point?

Lines are a little straight for a Koran. Maybe a 6-line? Pomacanthus for sure, and not one of the huge French or Grey.

A 300 gallon is likely okay, as long as there aren't other big angels. I don't love a 10 gallon for a grow out, but since you have the ability to move it...

no, I feel it could lead to some issues, if you want to see an angel, maybe ask your dad to get a big one. Also, do you know if his tank can fit an angel? it could be already stocked, or have fish that would fight it.

glad that you have a longer term tank already planned. That said, what other livestock are in your dad’s 300g? You want to make sure that tank is compatible also because this angel will outgrow your 10g well before its even a dwarf angel size and it may not do well in a larger tank with more aggressive tank mates at that size.

IMO you should not, the tank is way too small for an angelfish, way too small for 3 fish, nevermind 4....

And you keep saying "when it gets big I'll just put it in my dad's 300 g". lol, How many fish you gonna put in your dads tank? We dont just 'add' fish, they have to be compatible.

That’s a baby annularis too big for even a 10 for a couple of months in my opinion.
annularis and chrysurus were my other 2 guesses, besides 6 bar. I have trouble telling those 3 apart without a book in front of me.

This type of angel not reef safe and also susceptible to lymphocystis and cauliflower which is viral- not disease
