Should I get a bta for my 20 gal?

So all I ever hear is how horrible bubble tip anemones are, but everyone has them how could they be so bad when there in all of these beautifull tanks. So please help me decide on what to do I need pros and cons to owning a bta in a mixed reef aquarium.

Where would you put it? They grow quickly!

Keep in mind they get big....sometimes massive before splitting.


I agree with the above...where are you going to put it? It can't touch any coral really....that's the issue.

It's a personal opinion. But no. They move, they grow huge, and they can kill corals. Your tank looks nice, agree with the comment "where?".
Ps that's a beautiful gold looking acan you have there
If you go ahead with it just make sure it has the room it deserves

I started a 20g nem tank just to move mine from the main tank. Started with one and now I have five.
