I recently set up my 32.5 gallon tank and only have one power head at 240GPH. Should I get another 240GPH power head or get a wave maker?

not a major problem just noticed a bit of cyno and wanted to add another power head. It’s not a really problem due to the tank being only a little over a month old and having to mature.

In total, if you’re planning on doing a mixed reef, you need a minimum of 975gph turn over (30x tank size), and I would want a minimum of 50x (1625gph). This is between all of your flow creating pumps (return, wave maker, HOB filters, etc). In my 28g I currently have 1776gph of flow (63x tank volume), and I still feel like it’s not enough (and my tank is mostly lps and soft corals/anemones).
