I bought a used to buddie off marketplace and I'm wondering if it's running right. I figured I'd get more flow out of it. At this rate I won't be able to filly tank till next week lol

I enjoyed the adventure I had reading this. It was fun. Did you use new media?
I guess the beers were flowing last night better than my RO buddie lol. I'll edit my post. I did not use new media, the precious owner said he didn't use it all that often because he upgraded systems. After asking a local reef group on Facebook they said that they got the same amount of flow. I was averaging 2 cups in 5 minutes. Tds is zero so I won't bother changing media until that changes.

Lol good luck and get a float valve. Set it and forget it or get a wet vac and more beer

RO buddie units aren’t known for their speed: I’ve got the 50GPD unit and it won’t even do that, but my tap water is cold which affects performance. I don’t mind, though, since I have a 55 gallon water storage drum that I fill and top off as needed. Aquatic Life makes a booster pump if you need to bump that GPD stat up.
