I can glue this rock here so half of it is out of water and half is in. I have a but if gsp on it so that would go under, and I have an air plant I can put on top. I am afraid of it blocking some light though.
Should I glue this rock?

Doesn't look that big - should block that much light? I've seen some cool lagoon tanks with exposed rock and mangroves - it is a cool effect. Don't know how an air plant will handle salt splash? My wife grows them, but they freshwater/non brackish plants as far as I know? They do appreciate humidity, so it might be perfect.
