Hello, I wonder if it is fine for me to just leave my fan on 24/7 during the summer and when the AC is off because the tank is normally 80-83 degrees without the fan and 76-79 with the fan on constantly. There is a heater in there set to 75 degrees so it shouldn't get cold. The only problem I see is with too much evaporation, which happens already. I'm going to get an ATO eventually

I run one 12hrs/day
Helps with ph and cooling

If you don’t have a GHL or Apex, then you can get a temp controller like a Inkbird or something to turn the fan on and off.

You don't have a controller? I have my fan set to turn on at 79 deg via apex.

I have this thermostat for reptiles although I don't know if it will work in water :
Yea the Q&A says it doesn't work with water

I would look on Amazon for a Inkbird or something similar that is for saltwater aquariums. Though a reptile tank is humid, the sensor isn’t submerged in saltwater.

haha, it says perfect for aquariums although the Q&A doesn't say so
