Or leave it? Been in take for 3 weeks and showing some recession. Brown on edge has me concerned. Had a nitrate spike to 80-100 ppm while trying to boost nutrients. Not sure how long nitrates were that high. Lost some zoa’s and a small tongue frag. Now nitrates around 40. Will do another water change soon. Biocube stock leds.

I’ve seen various suggestions for placement. Have had in on bottom the whole time. Sorry for blues. Whites haven’t come in yet

I’d look at Light and flow first. It’s probably a low light coral.

High no3 isn’t the problem with the zoas or the lepto. I’d suggest something else is going on.

No clue then. My lights aren’t strong and flow is fairly low. Mag is 1400+ as well. Will start weekly water changes and see what happens

Will add that tank is 6 months old but rock and water was moved from old tank that ran for 7 years

Weird. It is an sps so I’ll like med to high flow in general.
But the zoa prob makes me think it’s somehing else.

Do you have a par or lux meter ?

What lights and what % ? If it’s led.
