a few weeks ago I purchased a beautiful black widow and put it on a nice shelf I scaped just for it. Of course it moved shortly afterwards, but it actually went under the shelf I made away from the light. Each morning it stretches itself out really far to get some light. I thought it would slowly make its way to light but it hasn’t moved it’s foot. My concern is for the last 2 weeks this may be bad for it stretching itself out so much every day. Is this an issue? Would you try to move it, or let it be?

Let him be. Hell come out when hes ready

Ok. Just worried that it was stretching 4-5” to get light. I’ll leave it be

Let the nem be.. if it likes where it is it will be fine, if it wants more light and different flow it will move itself.

Mine is under a ledge and stretches to get to the light also, it's happy so I'm leaving it.

Leave it be, it will get what it needs for survival. They love to hide and protect there foot.
