I have a 32g biocube with stock LEDs. I got a Duncan and placed him near the top of the tank. He was happy. Then he fell. I moved him down to the sand bed until I could get glue to keep him in place (he started on the sand bed too, before I moved him up). The glue has arrived but he seems happy and well expanded on the sand bed. Should I still move him up for better light?

Move it up a little higher every week or so. Ensure it stays happy as you move it higher until you get it where you want it.

I'd go for it. Like already said. A little at a time.
