Should i put in my live rock?

You all have been awesome so far thanks so much.

I do want to say I plan to have a couple sand sifting starfish and maybe 1 other and this is why I chose the deeper sand bed. I will have to measure it once things settle down I may only be at 3" I have a total of 370 lbs of sand in the tank + sump . Worst case I can take some out but my research told me these starfish like deep beds and help clean them.

So yesterday afternoon I picked up and installed a canister filter with just filter floss. Less than 14 hours later everything is pretty clear.


Time to smooth out the sand and make it horrible again
