Should I put my new torch in iso box?

I just purchased a golden tip torch. My shrimps keep bothering it. I am wondering if this would affect overall acclimiation and if i should put it into a box for it to acclinmate?

They are smelling it and cleaning it. If indeed they do damage it which I highly doubt acclimation will do nothing. You would want to get rid of the shrimp. I dont think you have anything to worry about.

One more thing. I have a small yellow clown goby. Will this little fella be an issue and nip on the torch?
