Hey all, first post here after lurking for quite some time lol. I have a Red Sea Max Nano AIO tank that's about 1 month old at this point and I'm currently running them at 40% intensity on the 15k setting (so like 40% blues, 20% whites at peak) on my REEFLED50 cuz I wanted to start on the low end to be safe and not put any of my corals at risk for bleaching. Right now I've got a couple of zoanthids and LPS and they all seem to be doing well and are all fully open during the day. I'm considering adding an RBTA and/or some SPS (def not acros tho) in a few months once my tank gets more seasoned and I feel like 40% might be too weak for their light demands, so does anyone with experience with these lights know if this intensity is fine or if I should gradually raise it within the next few months.

Another issue in my tank that I think might be an indication of the light not being strong enough is my one fiesta zoa that was doing fine at first but then started to stay partially closed up during most of the day and began showing signs of "stretching" for more light (will attach a pic). My other zoanthids haven't exhibited any of these behaviors at all and seem quite happy where they are, so I think the Fiestas might be more light demanding than they are (I've tried moving it up on the rockwork and it started to open up again for a day before going back to its usual closed up and stretching state, so not entirely sure tho)

It's kinda hard to find info on people's experiences with these lights because it seems they're less popular than options like the AI Primes and the PAR distribution map on Red Sea's site is only for the 100% intensity setting, so I'm hoping that someone could pitch in here.

If you plan to keep an anemone and SPS I’d say you will need to raise it, buuuut the only real way to know for sure is to get a par meter; rent it at BRS or get a seneye.
