Should I reinforce my floor or not?

I have a 150DD that I think I'm finally going to setup how ever it is double the size of the largest tank I've had and I'm not sure if the floor can support the weight. And if I should reinforce the floor that leads to other questions since there is a crawl spaced underneath and I'm not sure if it's just as simple as blocking up the floor joists or if I have to dig below the freeze line and pour concrete footings? I'd appreciate any advice, thanks.

gar, you would probably be okay blocking up the floor joists, as the concrete block would take a lot of the pressure off the joists, and add extra support. Do you know what the floor joists are made of, standard pine or southern yellow pine?

I really don't know what the joists are made from, is there any way to tell?

Any of you guys with larger tanks, did you find it necessary to reinforce your floor?

Thanks for the advice reeffirstaid, after reading a link I found on another site I've decided to just play it safe and reinforce the floor.
