I mounted my Red Planet frag to this shelf rock in the middle of the tank. Now I am thinking. Should i remove the shelf in the middle? I think it would look cool to have the red planet tabling off the shelf but i am also considering the possibilities of mounting about 10 different branching and tabling frags to the arm coming up the shelf if the shelf was removed.

What do you all think?

I like it. I would put a blue slimer and a green slimer on it.

I also like overhangs for my fish, and that’s a nice one.

It has a “uniqueness” to it.

Yeah I made that center piece that way for my previous tank. I do like it. Was thinking of keeping the red planet on top and add a couple branching torts or similar.

I'd say keep it. I like the rock work and the shelf is not something you see often.

personally i would remove it and place it on the left hand pile
so its higher than the right hand side
