Should I soak/rinse my Marco dry roak

Ive had a few people suggest that I should soak/rinse my dry rock in lanthanum chloride to keep the phosphates down

anyone out there use marco rocks and have this problem with phosphates?

Id rather not do it

I just rinsed mine, no issues.

Yeah, I just did it to remove the loose stuff. The rock was extremely clean.
