Adjusted more blue less red and green light and less white. Also will lower alk a tick.

I have gen4 pro. The last time this tank was set up I was as high as 65%. I run a slightly modified ab+. At overall 50% I have a touch more whites both cool and warm. And I have less green and red

Do you feed your LPS? I didn't see as much growth till I started target feedings once a week or so. The ones you have love to eat

Do you think running the spectrum I adjusted to is okay or will help my tank? Does blue light grow algae like red light and white light.

No the blue light does not all my blues are 100. If I remember my whites are on like 28. I think 24 is the default ab+. My tank is new and I put red and green on like 5 each to reduce algae. From my research the green grows algae. Red for the most part is for us visually and or the deeper water corals. If you search coral lab eco tech that explains it. They use gen 3. Just put the warm white same as cool white in the gen4. If you’re overall is 17% use the acclimate timer to bring it up. Some people ramp up to 85% over time. Last time I was running overall 67% that was the max i was going to go.

Red grows any plant more than green. Plants absorb little to no green, they reflect it which is why they look green to begin with.

The red spectrum is mostly useless to corals, red light is the first to disappear in the water. Most is gone at 25-30 ft depths. It's virtually all gone at 50ft.

White light is just red, green and blue light combined.
