It looks much greener in the pics. But it's turning grey and covering my sump with little pieces of it. I have a 150 watt grow light here. My sea lettuce and pom pom is growing just not the chetto

How long are you running the light for I had the same light it's not 150w it says it as powerful as 150w but I use to just leave it on 24-7

White/grey and breaking off means it is dying. Do you dose any trace elements?

No trace elements. I'm reading post about them now. My other macro are doing great. I'm thinking about getting some iron. I have a phosphate test coming to get a full picture of the parameters. I'm afraid my cyano is using all my nutrients.

Toss it. It’s just releasing more Phos and Nitrate into the water. You can always buy more if you need it.

That's what I was thinking. So I posted and started reading more. Could be why the cyanobacteria took hold. I'll up my refugium to full 12 hrs and remove cheato

Yes, I would go ahead and remove. Could be out competing the others and it dying off would be feeding nutrients to other things ~Shaun K

Retain greenest portion and place in sump under good light and add iron occasionally
