I have a 75g display with 40g breeder sump. I have 2 150w heaters, one in each tank but they seem to be on nonstop. The one in the sump will occasionally turn off but not very often. Should I change them out for bigger, both or just one? Tank is in the basement so it’s a little cooler than the rest of the house, was thinking 2 150w heaters would be enough but now I question that.

Thanks Jim

I have innovative marine helix 2x 200w in my 80g system. One of the best equipment purchases I have made from my tank.

Upgrade or maybe just add another for redundancy. This way if one goes bad either locking in the on position or not heating it won't have a disastrous effect.
