Hey all,

28 gallon jbj nano cube
Roughly around 20-30lbs LR
Frogspawn, clown fish (2), damsel and a few snails and crabs

Should I use chemipure?

Rite now I have only a sponge in the back of my tank. I wondered if I should add it to the back section? Thanks for the help!

I had the same set up and I used:

A white filter pad in the first chamber (I changed it with a new one every 3-5days)
Seachem SeaGel (Carbon/Phos control) in the second chamber
I left the third chamber empty

The sponge will do nothing for you but hold in nitrates (remove it).

If you have corals buy some sort of powerhead to push water around too (Ecotech MP10w).

Other than that, do bi-weekly water changes and if you want to go big, get a small protein skimmer and your set up will be top notch.

I really like the combo of Seachem Purigen and the Chemi Pure myself.
