So I am trying to decide on what method to use for my new aquarium system.

Current plan:
-475 gallon display (84x45x29) AGE custom tank
-Sump ~120-180 gallon (~half full)
-Fuge 125 gallon
-Frag 80 gallon x2
Total size: ~850 gallons
The display and frag tanks will be mainly SPS so the calcium and alkalinity requirements for this system will be large.

My initial plan was to run the largest fuge possible but I was always concerned about the trace elements needed for the macro algae and that competing with coral. The triton method seems to have solved this. The method would also drastically reduce the number of water changes required.

My question is: Does anyone have a system this size that they run the Triton method on? If so what are your dosing requirements per month?

I am ok with buying $150-200 per month in supplements if it means great looking coral, low nutrients(N&P's), and no/few water changes. If anyone has a system this size please chime in.

My other option was to use a calcium reactor for Ca and alk requirements. Do regular triton testing and then try to supplement to keep things stable based off the ICP testing.

Thanks,
