If so... which for ? Ensuing warfare I'm sure.. I purposely added that gsp on there thinking the hammer could hold its own... it's begun to spread polyps onto the hammer rock. Sooo... should I clean it off or just let it be ?

if the hammer had a bit more height it would have light advantage where anything growing under would be slightly weaker due to shading as it is in a fair fight hammer will lose that one

Move the gsp. my personal choice is not to even attempt control of gsp, I’ve never successfully isolated or controlled it.
