I see more diatoms on the glass and alil on my rocks and sand but not as much....could I add a crab or something now or wait til it completely show up everywhere

If your tests are showing you're cycled you could start adding a small CUC. Be sure to acclimate them appropriately.

I seen to ways to acclimate and I'm not sure how to do it.

I usually float the bag for 10-15 min to adjust temp and then drip acclimate in a bucket until the original bag water has doubled. Then remove half the water from the bucket and continue drip acclimating until the water has doubled again. Then removed creatures with a net and place into aquarium, dispose of the acclimation water.

On cuc, I float the bag for 15 min and drop them in. I don't put bag water in the tank. Either pick them out by hand or drain the bag into a net and put them in the tank. Pretty simple. You are in the right track. Keep asking if you have questions!
