I don't have any invaders. No bristle worms or asterina starfish or medusa worms or anything. It's weird cause I did start with mostly dry rock but I did have a little wet rock but I haven't seen any "pests". My last tank I had a few years was loaded with worms and asterina and honestly, I kind of liked them and it bums me out a little that I don't have any. Is that weird? I have seen them in the tanks at my LFS and thought about asking if I could have a couple.

I don't consider it weird. Personally, I don't like the sterility of some tanks. I started with TBS rock direct from the Gulf of Mexico and like that mine has a lot of natural diversity. Now that's not to say I want to be over-run by gorilla crabs and polyclad worms, but I do like all the various hitchhikers both good and bad.

Yeah, it seems more natural. And honestly its kind of boring without them.

Have you taken a look at the tank after lights out? I thought I didnt have any as well until I got my trusty red light out and took a long look. There was surprisingly many that I had no idea about. I too like the biodiversity.
