My 90 gal tanks is about 2 yrs old now, i have 3 fish, 3 corals and a nem. My tank is pretty much stable alk swing are only .3 to .4 day to day, calcium stay at 425 to 430 with 25% wc monthly. I do know coralline with sap up most of those and would need to do more then monthly like weekly or biweekly or dose. Buddy of mine says to be happy that i have none yet, but im lookingbto add alittle more color to my tank. So with that from past expiences what would you guys say?

I'd add if your phosphates are under control. I think coraline spores have a really hard time outcompeting nuisance algae which thrive on phosphates.

To a certain extent, it's probably a matter of preference, but I consider the coraline an essential part of my biofiltration. I also think it looks nice. And the urchins love it.

I keep finding interesting how a invasive algae can be so loved in the hobby. Not that I don’t like it I just find it interesting :)

Mine grow pretty fast in my 120. Tanks 7 months old. I have alway believed that a good growth of coralline is the sign of a healthy tank. It seems to keep the bad algae at bay too imo.
