Shouldn’t this tank be covered in algae?

I’m curious to see what peoples thoughts are on why this tank is not covered in algae after long periods of time with NO3 +100ppm and PO4 +.6ppm.

Lighting was ramped over slowly over the first three months and then run at close to full power from June till today. Par is 275 at the bottom center and 175 at the bottom corners.

Refugium and carbon dosing utilized to bring down nutrients. Refugium from beginning and carbon dosing was only started two months ago.


All dry rock with aquabiomics rubble and sand.

Lots of herbivores(probably the answer to the question).

So I open the question to others to see if there is anything additional to be learned.

Edit: I hope this doesn’t anger the algae gods and I walk out there tomorrow to a mess.

Never dosed phyto or bacteria.

I assume pods came in on some snails.
